So far it doesn’t work.
No ticker at all seen with OS 10.10.5. Please fix the major bugs and I’ll change my rating. I can not see the ticker at all on my iMac.

Sicuramente la migliore nell’appstore, vale il prezzo essendo l’unica tuttavia dovete mettere un modo piu veloce per poter uscire e rientrare, non basta la (X) a destra, ci vorrebbe un (-) per poter riprendere subito la postazione… WE NEED ALSO THE YELLOW (-) ON THE BAR, NOT ONLY THE RED (X), If i want to keep it always on top, and i need 2 sec to minimize my safari page, i need to close and re open it, i would prefer a (-) instead of the (x) or a button on the bar that make it temporary disappear for xxx seconds...
I’m sorry I wasted the money on this app. It’s virtually unusable. The banner is too small to read and it stays hidden - it doesn’t stay visible. Really stupid design. Developer website gives no tips. I don’t recommend it.

Used to work before the latest update…
Used this ticker for quite some time and then started working from home from a different computer which did not have it installed. Once installed, I was prompted to download the updated version. One updated, the ticker ceases to work at all. Continuously shows “Fetching the data from the server…”
Ticker Bar flat-out doesn’t work
Stephan has been responsive when I ask questions, but this application doesn’t work on all 3 mac’s I own. I use the admin tool to add my portfolio, and the ticker just show garbage. I have spent too much time on a $5 application. I did try….

Great app, i highly recommend it
As a trader I love this app, there was some minor issues but the developer was very fast at fixing them.
Great ticker, responsive developer
Does everything you'd ever want a ticker to do, discreetly and designed beautifully. The developer is super responsive, too. There were a couple of funcitonality issues I reported and they were fixed very quickly.
Great app when it works
This app is great when it works but since I downloaded it the ticker bar is primnarely blacked out as it is fetching data from the server. I have tried to find how to correct the issue but there isn't much help out there.
Great App
Have been looking for a stock app for Mac that creates a scrolling ticker across the top of the screen. Have purchased a few others that didn't work well at all. But, Finance Toolbar does. It performs everything it claims to do and am happy with the purchase.
Good customers support
Works as advertised, with very rapid customer support when I had a glitch with the app on my Macbook.
Love this App
Absolutely love this app, and Stefan (the developer) it is extremely accessible and responsive. I had lost the connection capability with the App for whatever reason, and within 2 days after contacting Stefan he had a new version approved and available for update in the App Store. Highly recommend and I really do enjoy the App and all its functionality.
Support was very helpfull
After explaining my problem, support worked with me to fix the problem. After a few adustments to his application the problem I had was successfuly eliminated. Great support!
App can't connect to server
Have deleted and redownloaded the app several times, and every time I open it, it shows beautifully for all of 3 seconds then goes black and says "can not reach Yahoo finance server. Please check firewall and restart app." I checked firewall-not the issue. Really a bummer, wanted to use this app...now all I want to use is Apple's refund feature.
Works perfect
On my Apple Silicon box running 13.2 this works great, not sure why all the hate but it launched right up and put a nice ticker I can customize on the desktop.
Don't do it
This is a joke! Rip off and I"m definetely reporting this to Apple. Remember it is $4.99 PLUS tax that you will pay at the end of the year. The only thing that is working is constant "fetching the data from the server". If there is a negative rating this joke of an app would be first on my list.

Great Ticker for the Mac!
I've installed several Tickers but usually uninstall for some reason. 2 weeks into the install. Works as discribed. No issues to report. The best ticker I've ever used. Sys. i7 Mac mini with 16g mem.
Mostly broken
I purchased this for a live toolbar stock ticker. Initially it seemed like it was going to work well, but once I got the settings adjusted and all my stockes input, it breaks constantly, telling me that all the stocks are not supported or that it can not connect to the server. SAVE YOUR MONEY!

App does not work on 2021 Mac Mini with M1 chip. Also does not work on 2020 Macbook Air.
Needs work
For some reason the toolbar will not give live updates to any stocks you add yourself. This needs to be fixed, I feel like I wasted my money. DO NOT BUY.
Love the configurability!
I was very pleasantly surprised by how flexible this app is. I can make my ticker bar look exactly the way I want. I've got it in just the right spot, just the right font, showing both percent change and price change, with green/red color fills. I prefer a static display to a scrolling one and was able to set that. Very nice work on this app! Developer should consider a screenshot of the configuration screen so customers can see how many options there are.
doesn't work
when installed the basic version worked fine however, once I added my own stock picks, they only were listed as their ticker symbol---no price, change etc as the basic tickers did And yes, I restarted the computer and made sure it was the latest version of the app

This flat out doesn't work
Just made the mistake of wasting $5 on this to get a scroll bar at the top of my screen that says "AAPL Stock Not Supported NFLX Stock Not Supported AMZN Stock Not Supported" and so on. Unless there's a patch that nips this one in the bud, I absolutely want my money back.

When I first purchased it and installed it on the computer and it opened up using the default entries the application worked great. Once I added several new stocks the application slowed and then all it says is fetching data so fetch data for an hour and then maybe maybe it would show the data
Two Fixes for Mac Version
I like the toolbar and happy to support your work. I wou;d ask the following two fixes please: 1- When in full size mode the tickers do not start at the far right, but rather at about a third of the toolbar. Apparently a limit was set for dimensions. This should be an easy fix and it would make it work as expected for people with wider screens. 2- I am not able to activate the Finance Currency Converter as mentioned on the web site. The Finance Toolbar options are greyed out and I cannot select Customize Toolbar. This should be functional it seems, based on what the web site states. Would appreciate both fixes mentioned above. Thanks. ****update on May 29, 2020: Thanks for reviewing and updating the app. My previous bug reports seem to have been fixed in this version. Some additional issues for this version: 1- I have 11 tickers and data refresh rate of 30 seconds. The app pulls a lot of data per second, more than reasonably expected. I monitor data transmission with iStat. It is unclear why so much data is being downloaded in the background. 2- When scrolling, the overall ticker row has a recurring lag or bump, apparently every 1 minute or so. This should not happen, scrolling should be continously smooth. There seems to be an issue with the refresh rate and its implementation. Hopefully you can review the above new issues and improve on this upgrade. Thanks.
Everything I hoped it would be, and then some...
I had been a long time user of another stock ticker application that said the new version was coming...for multiple years. I finally stopped working and I began my search for a replacement. Finance Toolbar is the result of my search. Stefan has assembled the features I had and added additional ones. Support has been phenomenal and a minor issues was addressed by reaching out to him and it was fixed in short order. What is nice is that Stefan is always looking to add to the feature set and invites feedback on it. I highly recommend Finance Toolbar!!
IT DOESN'T WORK FOR ALL MARKETS
I decided to purchase this app because it says it works for all foreingh markets. Well, that NOT TRUE. I work at the stock market in Brazil and none of the brazilian stocks are supported. Money WASTED!
Latest Version is Exactly to Expectation!
I know that there were some challanges in the previous releases, but this version, 1.5.2 deliveres the exact experiance that I would expect from a Stock Ticker, with some nice ways to customize.
ticker not working
the finance toolbar does not show the prices next to the ticker symbols. Just scrolls symbols all day. not worth it.

get for my home page used the idea of putting at the top and slidng everything down had to go in a put it to open when i sign in and had to go in and add my own stocks which had a bug but i worked through that and they love the last price and dollor amount it goes up but which it could connect to my accounts like robinhood example or tdbank . but like this and worth $2.00 but i paided more and would pay more for more attention to details
Not What I Expected
I was hoping for a dynamic, realtime ticker that I could modify to show my stocks, as well as, the DOW J, Nasdaq and S&P 500, to name a few. However, it seems somewhat useless at this point. The ribbon on my browser pages displays the titles of the tickers of the stocks I have selected, but not the value in dollars or the percentage change as I have selected. And, the ribbon that I have assigned to my desktop can’t be modified and only displays tickers which I have zero interest in. Overall, a regretful purchase.
Regretting My Purchase
Looked cool but you can't move the ticker around to where I wanted it on my display, it stays dead center. This app needs work.

It could be better. It’s not as advanced as I’d hoped but it gets the job done I suppose.
Broken Gold ticker Not working refund!!
The gold ticker is broken and not updating. This app is useless to me.
